You want to feed your precious Henry something better than you find at all those pet store chains. You believe he should eat a Filet every day of the week, or at least, the doggie equivalent. But honestly, you don’t know one food brand from another. Names like; Merrick, Canidae and Wellness mean nothing to you.

Well, the good news is, the only name you need to remember is Sixth Ave Pet Source. Rebecca Gershten turned this prior “feed store” into the high end, premium dog food spot it is today. They specialize in selling all natural, human grade dog food. For those of you who really want to treat your pup like one of the fam.

They offer an exotic food selection hard to find anywhere else in the city. You probably wouldn’t expect to find duck, venison, bison and elk meat at your local dog store. Baskets full of unusual treats like cow ears & bones, ostrich & buffalo bones and kneecaps line the shelves.

Before you know it, you’ll be stocking up on “Chatter Boxes” and “Bully Sticks”. The former, made from trachea, is surprisingly, a natural source of glucosemine and cartilage. The latter is, well, let’s just say it’s part of the bull that you definitely never thought about eating.

After a few minutes of premium dog food education, you’ll wonder how Henry ever lived without ostrich bones, bison ears, kneecaps and trachea.
