Costume Party
What: 5th Annual Halloween Yappy Hour
Why: Where else can you meet other dog lovers, grab a beer, purchase art and dress your dog up like a fool? It’s the Halloween Party in Denver! Beer and light appetizers will be provided along with some amazing art work from Dogmata. ($25/person, $20 if your dog’s in a costume). All proceeds go to Helping Hands.
When: Fri. Oct. 24th @ 6:30PM–8:30PM
Where: City Bark LoDo @ 3150 Brighton Blvd, Denver.

Haunted House
What: Haunted Animal Hospital
Why: Walk a trail of thrills and scary passages. Help raise money for homeless animals, while you check out 10 rooms of scary exhibits and spooktacular fun! Plus animal psychics, creepy/exotic pets, pet caricature artists and more! ($10 for adults, kids free)
When: Sat. Oct 25 @ Noon – 7PM
Where: North Metro Animal Hospital 1050 West 47th Ave @ I-70 & Pecos St.

Trick or Treat
What: Howl-Oween Pet Costume Contest & Trick or Treat
Why: Dogs get to Trick or Treat for biscuits, through Olde Town Arvada! Costume contest, plus pet tricks and prizes. $10 tickets ($8 in advance). Fee benefits the Homeward Bound Foundation.
When: Sat. Oct 25 @ 2PM-4PM
Where: Olde Town Arvada, Register at Paws ‘n Play @ 7403 Grandview Ave Arvada.

Boo Fest
What: 1st Annual Bow Wow Boo Fest
Why: Canine costume contest & parade (with celebrity guest judge), doggy games (like bobbing for bones), refreshments, prizes and more! Sponsored by The Great Dane Meetup Club, benefiting the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue. All breeds welcome. Pre-register for $10/dog or at the door for $15.
When: Sun. Oct. 26 @ 2:30PM-4:30PM
Where: Mile High Mutts @ 3500 Chestnut Place, Denver.
